TIRANA, April 17/ATA/ So far, 310 thousand citizens have been vaccinated throughout the country. Today there has begun the vaccination of people working in tour operators so that to make it possible that in the upcoming summer tourist season, our hotel structures are COVID-free.
Prime Minister Edi Rama saw closely the progress of this process as he stated that behind the tour operators in line will be other categories, such as employees of the façon industry and workers of the public transport.
“Today, it is important to inform all tour operators that the government is ready to vaccinate the staff of hotel structures, starting from those on the coast, which are the ones that have the largest number of tourists,” said Rama.
According to him, vaccination gives us more guarantees for tourists who will come and find hotels that are free from COVID.
“Everyone should apply to the Ministry of Tourism and Environment”, Rama appealed.
The prime minister further informed that the vaccination process will continue with other categories that are the employees of the façon industry and those of the transport of passengers./p.s./
