TIRANA, April 15 /ATA/ Revenues in personal income tax collections are estimated at ALL 10.1 billion during the first quarter of this year.
According to the report of the Ministry of Finance and Economy on fiscal indicators for this period, revenues from this item are estimated at 1.6 billion ALL or 19.2% more than the corresponding quarter 2020, and 978 million or 10.7% more than the quarterly plan 2021.
In the Action Plan 2021-2025, the government envisages the abolition of the personal income tax on salaries up to 40 thousand ALL from 30 thousand ALL, the current limit.
This measure expands the base of employees who will not pay personal income tax, bringing it to 67%.
