TIRANA, April 15/ATA/ “Let’s go beyond politics”, stated today Prime Minister Edi Rama from Lezha, while emphasizing that he will definitely cooperate with the opposition on condition that DP Chairman Lulzim Basha is separated from Sali Berisha and Ilir Meta.
Speaking at a meeting with citizens in Lezha, Rama said that many people think that politics is very bad.
“Politics may be very bad or very good; it depends on what hands it falls into, what decisions it makes, what things it does. If today Albania has the highest level of vaccination in the region, and one of the highest levels of vaccination in Europe, then policies did this, pop in unexpectedly”, he said.
Following on, Rama commented on Meta’s statements. “He came out at the press conference and said, if Basha is going to make that deal, let he do it now,” he said.
“Yesterday, I told a journalist that I am ready to definitely cooperate with the opposition that they are and will remain opposition because the Socialist Party will win the elections, because we will continue to govern. But, if it is possible, let’s go beyond this policy of divisions and quarrels; let’s work closely, why not. But, I told him, there is one condition: Basha must be separated from Berisha and Meta.
