TIRANA, April 13/ATA/ “My biggest concern is not to be necessary anymore to reach out to the prime minister, minister, MP, or someone to solve those problems of daily life that remain unresolved because the administration does not solve them”, stated Prime Minister Edi Rama during a meeting with local residents of the city of Librazhd, within the electoral tour for the April 25 elections.
Here, the prime minister drew attention to the work done towards the digitalization of services, and mentioned as an example issue of permits to move for citizens during the lockdown due to the pandemic.
“The question is very simple. Will we continue to the end, or will we go back and experience another hurricane attack on the offices and jobs that are taken today through a system that guarantees merit through competition and ensures transparency that makes no one overtake someone else with “the influence of a friend or a party,” he said.
Therefore, the Prime Minister stressed, we have tripled the number of girls and boys who entered vocational education.
“We set up the recruitment system according to the merits of teachers, we halved the fees for students; we invested in the infrastructure of dormitories and universities. But, is it enough or is it enough. If these things were not done for decades, how could they be done so quickly? Then we would be magicians. Neither Germany, France, Belgium nor Italy have done the things we see today in the blink of an eye”, stated the prime minister./p.s./
