PRISTINA, April 13 /ATA/ Since March 13 last year when Kosovo marked the first two positive cases of COVID-19 until today, there are 98 thousand 341 people who were infected with this deadly virus.
The corona virus claimed the lives of 1,996 citizens in the country.
In the last 24 hours alone, 8 deaths were recorded in Kosovo. These data of the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo (NIPHK).
NIPHK reports that currently in the country there are 13 thousand 763 active cases of COVID-19.
During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology in NIPHK and private laboratories with RT-PCR method, as well as public and private laboratories with RAT method, were tested a total of 3,208 samples taken from HUCSK and tracking of case contacts in the field , of which resulted 345 positive cases. During the last 24 hours, 518 patients have been cured, while the total number of cured to date is a total of 82,582 cases “, it is stated in the report of NIPHK.
