TIRANA, March 25 /ATA/ The new school in the village Mangull in Petrela is almost ready to host children. They will no longer need to travel long distances to other schools after their school is rebuilt.
Mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj and the MP of the Socialist Party Xhemal Qefalia inspected the last works for the new 9-year school, which was damaged by the earthquake of November 26. The new school is twice as large, with classrooms of up to 24 students, 3 laboratories, a library and medical cabinets, as well as gyms and sports fields, which can also be used by the community.
The mayor said that the construction of new schools in Tirana is being carried out with the same standard, both in the center and in the suburbs.
Given the qualitative transformation, not only in educational institutions, but also in many other construction sites and new services, which are increasing the standard of living of the community every day, Veliaj raised the need for the vote of the people so that to continue with other projects during the next mandate./k.s/j.p/p.s./
