TIRANA, March 25 /ATA/ Director of the Agency for Agricultural and Rural Development (ARDA) Frida Krifca said today for ATA that, “On the first day of opening applications in the National Support Scheme for Agriculture and Rural Development 2021, we received over 8 thousand applications of farmers, nationwide, a record figure like never before ”.
The farmers have applied online on the e-Albania portal, for one of the nine support measures offered by this scheme, with zero documents and zero costs.
In his statement for ATA, Krifca explained that farmers can apply for one of the nine support measures offered by the National Scheme this year, for the sectors: livestock, beekeeping, replacement of plastic in greenhouses, medicinal plants, organic farms, Global GAP certification, investments in agritourism, inns and agricultural mechanics.
“Farmers have until April 15 of this year to apply for support in the National Scheme 2021. While the review and announcement of the winners will start immediately after the end of the application deadline, in order not to create delays “- said Krifca.
The main focus of funding this year is for the livestock sector, which receives 60% of the total national subsidy scheme in agriculture, while the highest flow of applications comes from the area of Fier, Korça, Lushnja, Vlora, Berat, etc. /j.p/p.s./
