TIRANA, March 23/ATA/ Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Milva Ekonomi participated today in the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between the National Authority of Veterinary and Plant Protection, the Institute of Food Safety and Veterinary and the Agricultural University of Tirana.
The minister described today’s agreement as a step forward in the cooperation so far with University of Agriculture as the only center of university education, research and training in the field of agriculture and environment, veterinary medicine and food safety.
This agreement aims at cooperation between the parties in terms of supporting students in an appropriate way to develop sound knowledge and practical skills, as well as research projects in the respective areas of staff in both institutions.
According to the cooperation agreement with the two affiliated institutions of the Ministry of Agriculture, it is intended to make the best use of their capacities and resources, for the development of professional practice programs and joint activities between institutions.
Also, according to the agreement, employees with scientific degrees at the Institute of Food Safety and Veterinary will be invited as lecturers in the auditoriums of the Agricultural University of Tirana to give lectures in theory or development of laboratory practices.
