Revolution in state-citizen relations/145 million interactions via e-Albania

TIRANA, March 19 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama stated today that only 7 years ago, there were only 50 thousand people registered in the portal that was supposed to provide online services, while with the digital revolution, today there are about 1.87 million registered who use the e-Albania platform.

Speaking about services for business citizens, Rama reminded that there were only 6 electronic registers that were presumed to interact on the government platform, while today there are 55 electronic registers that interact in real time.

“Until 2013, the total number of transactions, i.e. interactions performed on the platform were 680 thousand. Today, the final figure for 2020 is 145 million”, said Rama.

The prime minister stressed that in regard to a large number of documents issued by the state, a considerable number of other documents were and still are needed to make the application.

“This is Revolution. This is the revolution of the state-citizen relationship”, said Rama.

“This is the revolution that continues and that will transform in the third term this country into a country where the state is all in the pocket of the citizen, not to take things from his pocket, but the citizen to get from his iphone, his smartphone in his pocket”, said the prime minister./r.e/p.s./
