TIRANA, March 19/ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama stated today that, “There will be a system that has already started, but will be completed in the third term when everything will be online. Not only for police employees, but also for every driver, everything will be online”.
Speaking about online services, Rama said that, “Now the police officer checks in real time the status of the license plate, driving license, verifies if there are other measures, unpaid taxes and so on.”
“Meanwhile, for those who receive a fine, there is no need to appear before the commission. Everything will be online. Today, over 50 thousand have had claims for administrative measures for road violations and the police bodies have followed the claim online. But, with the inclusion in the traffic monitoring system, which is in the process, you will no longer see police on the streets”, said Rama.
The prime minister stressed that, “The police will come only when they have to come for help or only when they have to be there due to an accident or a crime, but they will no longer be there waiting and escorting, stopping and issuing fines. Everything will be online.”
Rama also listed some of the changes that have taken place thanks to the digital revolution in the course of these last years./p.s./
