TIRANA, March 17/ATA/- Commercial banks in the country increased lending to agriculture last year. Central Bank statistics show that credit to agriculture increased by 16% compared to a year ago.
The disbursed agricultural credit accounts for about 1.4% of the credit provided to private companies.
At the end of 2020, the total agricultural loan portfolio reached ALL 5.8 billion or about 1.6% of the total business loan portfolio.//a.i/
