TIRANA, March 12/ATA/ The Chairman of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha presented today in Durrës the program for gender equality.
“We have an extraordinary team of ladies that represents Albanian women and their desire for change,” said Basha.
But, he underlined, “Today, we are to discuss a very important issue that is not actually half but is more than half of Albanian society for the effect it will give after April 25 elections and the change that all Albanians expect. We are dealing with the unresolved problem of women in society, of the right place for women in society.”
“The DP has worked for months with the best experts and the best experts in the field to guarantee one of our main objectives which is gender equality, ending discrimination and use, empowerment of Albanian women as a “a precondition for society to move forward,” he said./j.p/r.e/p.s./
