TIRANA, March 9 /ATA/- By Maela Marini/ Prime Minister Edi Rama stated on Tuesday that “the Democratic Party team in April 25 elections is a disappointment.”
At a press conference from the SP headquarters, Rama said that “I do not believe that this was the extra mile the DP could go, despite the absolutely difficult situation due to a leadership lacking in character, vision and strength.”
“I do not believe that the scope, the perimeter of DP influence is so narrow that the DP does not have the opportunity to offer more than that. So if the SP list represents the power of change itself, the DP list is the affirmation of fossilization, ” said Rama.
Prime Minister pointed out that “it is impossible to build a winning team and please the players at the same time. Teams enter the field to win the match. I do not see in DP a team that has entered the field to win the match, I see a team built to prevent the resentment of players,” said Rama.
“Now I do not know who among you will vote for a team where the captain is Sali Berisha and 1 in 2 are the fossils of Albania, Fatmir Mediu on the list of DP, Shpëtim Idrizi, Vangjel Dule and of course Mesila Doda or Dash Shehi.”
PM called the DP list a disaster, adding that he feels disappointed at the lineup.
Also, Rama said that the SMI list for April 25 elections is the list of SPAK and OFL.
“I do not want to waste time on the SMI list. It is the list of SPAK and OFL. There was no way it could be otherwise and I feel sorry for many young men and women who of course do not belong to this category, but are just like an appetizer around Monika’s prawn pan. And the ‘prawns’ are there in the center,” Rama told a press conference from the SP headquarters.
Prime Minister went on saying that “this is simply an affirmation of the disgrace of a political force that has played its role in the democratic processes in Albania, while today has been reduced to a private warehouse run by the President’s wife who speaks nonsense and buys votes. ”
