TIRANA, March 8 /ATA/ – Prime Minister Edi Rama stated today that the issue of the emigrants’ vote is still a primary objective and the Socialist Party will continue to fight to achieve this objective as well.
Speaking at the event “Toward April 25 – FUTURE IS ALBANIA, EMIGRATION IS PAST”, Rama said that, “We had and have the conviction that the vote of immigrants must be guaranteed in every corner of the globe, “Despite the fact that we failed to convince the other party about this even this time.”
“Meanwhile, in the team of April 25 running for MP, we will have emigrants, today and so far. Ready and worthy to deserve the vote of the citizens and ready and worthy to sit in Parliament tomorrow and to be the voice of those who cannot be here, but who are here every day near their families. They can also be part of that special Parliamentary and governing team that we will create in the function of emigrants and for emigration”, Rama underlined.
“We have done a lot, but more needs to be done and it is time to move to a new phase, precisely because in our Action Plan, we want to give all emigrants a new opportunity in Albania,” said Rama ./p.s./
