TIRANA, March 6 /ATA/ The Elbasan Bypass will not only ease the road traffic in the city of Elbasan, but also turn Shushica into a destination of Tirana at weekends.
This is what the chairman of the SP parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, said on Saturday, referring to this important investment for Elbasan.
Elbasani bypass is a necessity, also due to the great transformation of infrastructure.
Therefore, even earlier, Balla has described it as one of the priorities of 2021-2025 term of office.
These investments, according to him, will turn Elbasan into a tourist attraction at the weekend for Tirana as well.
According to the mayor of Elbasan, Gledian Llatja, the Elbasan bypass is an ambitious infrastructure project that will divert all heavy vehicles from the city and will introduce for the national axis Tirana – Durres – Elbasan a new concept of integrated urban and rural development.
He said that “the project agreed upon by experts of the European Committee solves the issue of heavy traffic in the city ring, building a new axis for tonnage vehicles behind the Metallurgical Plant in the direction of Shushica and Labinot Fushë towards Librazhd.”
