TIRANA, February 28 /ATA/ The Chairman of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha presented today his government’s program after April 25 on properties.
Basha explained in detail all his commitments for the process of restitution and real compensation of property in Albania, considering Rama law of 2013 as a second expropriation of legal owners in Albania.
“We will ensure that the process of dealing with property issues will be transparent and will be more efficient to the owners and the public interest of Albanian citizens,” said Basha.
“We will repeal the current property law and all bylaws in force that are dishonest and will start drafting a consolidated legal framework that provides a solution to the issue of property treatment. There will be a complete abrogation of the law on the completion of the transitional processes of ownership and bylaws regarding the completion of the transitional process of property treatment. The new framework for property issues will be the cornerstone on which the government’s treatment of unreturned private property, individual private property and trampled public property will be built,” Basha said./a.a/p.s./
