TIRANA, Feb.27 /ATA/- Over 68 thousand people have been infected with the novel coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic in Kosovo.
During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology at NIPHK and private laboratories using the method RT-PCR, a total of 2,643 samples taken from the Kosovo’s Clinical and Hospital Service and tracking of case contacts on the field were tested, of which 437 turned out to be positive.
In the last 24 hours, have been reported 5 fatalities. The total number of positive cases has reached 68,351 out of 300,198 persons suspected with SARS-CoV-2 virus, while the number of fatalities has reached 1,592.
In the last 24 hours, 264 patients have recovered putting the overall number of cured cases to date at 59,438, while the number of active cases is 7,321.//a.i/
