TIRANA, February 25/ATA/- The Albania’s Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku has reacted on Thursday to the Democratic Party’s Energy Program, while emphasizing that, “Lulzim Basha promises to return to the theft of CEZ.”
In her remarks, Minister Balluku said that, “the old system with bands, implemented by the Democratic Party, during 2008-2013 produced only manipulation and theft of energy. In 2015 energy price reduced from 13.5 lek to 9.5 lek/ kWh. A reduction of about 40% for household subscribers.
According to Balluku, the DP’s proposals “do not reduce the price, they only increase the abuse.
The Minister Balluku stressed that, “with today’s energy billing system, consumers are all treated equally.
“Consumers are directly subsidized through social assistance schemes, families with financial assistance, single pensioners, people with disabilities and their companions and public employees with a salary less than 35 thousand ALL per month,” Balluku added. //a.i/
