TIRANA, February 24 /ATA/- The Chairman of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha presented the program on energy promising that, “We will reduce the electricity bill for 70% of Albanian households by setting up a billing system with two bands and reducing the price of energy for those who consume up to 300 kW / hour per month”.
“During the 8 years of Rama’s failure, we were told that the price of energy could not be reduced. But, this is possible! And it depends only on us. If we want change, we must get rid of Rama and lower prices. We stand by the principle: If we do not implement it, we will not ask for another mandate”, said Basha.
He said that, “We will liberalize the electricity market, giving consumers the OPPORTUNITY to choose which operator to buy energy.”
Basha added that, “The business will be supplied cheaper and better, thus increasing its competitiveness and opportunities to generate employment.”/p.s./
