TIRANA, February 19 /ATA/ The Chairman of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha said that European integration is one of the main priorities of the electoral program of the political force he leads in the framework of the April 25 elections.
During a television interview, Basha said that Albania has not made any progress in the process of European integration.
“Slovenia will take over the presidency of the European Union in the second half of this year. And we have declared European integration as one of the main priorities of our program and certainly one of the main priorities of the Albanian citizens “, said Basha.
The DP chairman expressed the will that the first intergovernmental conference between Albania and the European Union will take place within 6 months after taking over the government.
