TIRANA, February 18 /ATA/ The Ministry of Health announced today that in the last 24 hours 736 have been vaccinated for COVID-19, 3935 tests, 991 cured, 1112 new cases and 17 loss of life.
Regarding the situation of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, the Ministry said that in the last 24 hours, there have been performed 3935 tests and 1112 citizens have tested positive. 736 people are vaccinated.
In the last 24 hours, 991 citizens have recovered, bringing the number of recovered to 60,675 since the beginning of the epidemic.
Currently, 594 patients are being treated in COVID hospitals in Tirana and in regional hospitals, 36 in intensive therapy, of which 12 patients are intubated.
Despite the efforts of the medical staff, 17 citizens lost the battle with COVID-19: 4 citizens from Tirana, 3 citizens from Durrës, 2 citizens from Elbasan, 2 citizens from Kavaja, 1 citizen from Kuçova, 1 citizen from Vlora, 1 citizen from Kruja, 1 citizen from Cërriku, 1 citizen from Peqini, 1 citizen from Korça, aged 43-79.
