TIRANA, February 17 /ATA/ Justice Minister Etilda Gjonaj stated today that, for the first time, thanks to the reform of the penitentiary system there are no minors in any Institution of Execution of Penal Decisions where adults are.
“One of the most prominent achievements at the head of the Ministry of Justice and the reforms in the penitentiary system is the sending of all minors into a single institution,” she said.
Gjonaj also added that, “The internationals have considered a success story the concentration of all minors in Kavaja Penitentiary Institution where they are treated with the best international programs for their re-education and reintegration into society.” /a.a/p.s./
