TIRANA, Feb 16 /ATA/ – By I. Vata/ Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Milva Ekonomi, visited the investment in one of Berati’s top wineries with the support of ARDA through the IPARD program.
Ekonom visited “Çobo” winery in Berat to closely see the investments made with the support of ARDA as part of the IPARD program as is the installation of cooling system that controls the temperatures in the tanks of this winery.
“This winery has been supported by the Ministry of Agriculture through the lease on a land area to expand the vineyards. Thanks to this support, the products of the “Çobo” winery can be recognized abroad, at fairs or through exports, as promoters of the image of Albania. I used the opportunity to encourage the investors of the” Çobo” winery to benefit from the tax- free oil scheme, which has a direct impact on reduction of production costs and increase of their profit,” said Ekonomi.
“At the Stuttgart fair in 2017 you were one of the promoters of the Albanian stand,” she said.
