TIRANA, Feb 14 /ATA/ – Heavy snowfall that swept almost throughout Albania last night has also whitened the country’s capital Tirana.
After the significant drop in temperatures, Tirana citizens woke to a rare blanket of snow covering cars, streets and buildings on Sunday.
Meteorologists had recently forecasted that the country’s lowland areas would be swept by snowfall.
Frigid temperatures and cold weather conditions have swept across Albania since last day.
