TIRANA, February 13 /ATA / “Investments in the field of energy are investments useful to the consumers for the next 10-20 years. Losses in the network today are about 20%, while in 2013 they were 45%.
Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Belinda Balluku made the statement today in Farka, where she inspected the investments and work done in this substation, which supplies with electricity at least 40 thousand inhabitants.
“At Farka electrical substation, there is invested in capacity building and the installation of new equipment. Thanks to this intervention, the quality and security of electricity supply for 40 thousand inhabitants is improved”, said Balluku.
Minister Balluku said that the Farka area has experienced excessive development. “This area that has agricultural points, organic farms, which export their products abroad, is an area that has seen development. Here is grown a branch of agribusiness with various inns which residents of Tirana and other cities visit. The area has had tremendous development in recent years,” Balluku said.
“This investment responds to the development of the area, offers the capacities to meet population growth and development of this region”, – said Balluku./a.a/p.s./
