TIRANA, February 10/ATA/- The Albania’s Minister of Finance and Economy, Anila Denaj and the Minister of Trade of the People’s Republic of China, Wang Wentao signed today a Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of a joint working group on cooperation and investment, in the ligh of the joint initiative “One Belt, One Road”.
This memorandum aims to promote bilateral economic and trade relations, as well as increase investment and cooperation in various fields, by improving the mechanism of investment cooperation under the joint commission on economic cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Albania and the Government of the People’s Republic of China.
This initiative was also praised at the 9th summit of the leaders of the Central and Eastern European Countries, 17 + 1″ virtual format. //a.i/
