TIRANA, February 9/ATA/- The Albania’s Prime Minister Edi Rama said today during a conversation with the citizens in Durrës that, the Reconstruction projects so far have been carried out through the state budget.
According to the Prime Minister Rama, the countries of the European Union or other countries involved in the reconstruction process, are following their own works
“Donors’ Conference on Reconstruction Programme after the November 26, 2019 earthquake in Albania has been one of the most successful conferences than other similar conferences. We deserve to be given a credit for all the work we did. European countries and beyond showed their support for reconstruction program. To date, all the houses, schools, kindergartens have been built through state budget,” premier Rama underlined.
“Donors’ Conference programs are other programs. The EU gave the biggest contribution providing 100 million euros to build the rest of the schools, while work has already kicked off in Durrës. The EU will also make interventions on the cultural heritage, the castle of Durrës, the castle of Kruja, and so on. Individual donors have provided funding for schools and they manage project through a self-managing team. The whole project is managed by the EU through a specially set up structure, that manages the projects and the fund,” the Prime Minister Rama said. //a.i/
