TIRANA, February 8/ATA/- A total of 72,183 families benefited the baby bonus for the newly born babies under the baby bonus law adopted by the Albanian government in 2019 under the Social Protection Program encouraging Albanian parents to have more children through a sharp hike in baby bonuses, the Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu announced on Monday.
“As the Albanian government pledged, the 2021 budget will provide ALL 2 billion to support the new families. Under the this program, there is a reward for the birth of every child, starting from 40,000 ALL for the first child, 80,000 ALL for the second and 120,000 ALL for the third child,” Manastirliu added. //a.i/
