TIRANA, February 8/ATA/- The apartments benefited under the Reconstruction Program by the residents affected by the earthquake of November 26, 2019 will be their property, the Minister of State for Reconstruction, Arben Ahmetaj stated today during the inspection of the construction works on the new neighborhood in Ndroq.
In his remarks, Minister Ahmetaj emphasized that, “the new buildings under the Reconstruction Program are the property of the beneficiaries, which they inherit, can sell or rent them.”
“So far, more than 32,000 families have been registered to benefit from the reconstruction process. A week earlier, the Albanian government passed the decision and the municipalities have been provided with the standard contract for houses, which means that the municipalities will enter into the process of reaching an agreement with all the quake-affected families who will benefit homes under the Reconstruction Program,” Minister Ahmetaj said. //a.i/
