Credit to business in health sector grew to ALL 2.7 billion

TIRANA, Jan 28 /ATA/ Credit to businesses operating in the health sector increased to ALL 2.7 billion during 2020, compared to a year ago.

According to data from the Bank of Albania, in addition to investments in various sectors of the economy, there is a significant expansion of private investment in the health sector in our country, which has led to increased lending from second-level banks to enterprises in this sector.

Increase in credit was driven by high demand for logistics from private hospital structures, especially laboratories which invested in additional equipment or modern equipment.
