TIRANA, Jan.27 /ATA/- International Holocaust Remembrance Day is a reason to feel proud of Albania and the Albanians of the darkest time in Europe, the Albania’s Prime Minister Edi Rama said.
The head of government said that Albanians made history by protecting Jews.
International Holocaust Remembrance Day is a reason to feel proud of Albania and of the darkest Albanians in Europe, who made history by defending the Jews when the greatest extermination machine in human history tore the children of Israel to pieces, as if it were a meat machine produced at the end of hell! The memory of the victims of the Holocaust will never be forgotten.”
On November 1, 2005, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution establishing January 27 – the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz – as International Holocaust Remembrance Day. //a.i/
