TIRANA, Jan.27 /ATA/- During 2020, the claims payments increased by 18.5% compared to 2019.
According to the official data published by the Financial Supervision Authority (FSA), most of the gross claims paid belong to the car insurance worth about 3.390 million ALL, or 44.84% of the total value of insurance gross claims.
During 2020, a total of ALL 7.5 billion in claims have been paid by insurance companies.
During 2020, the number of claims paid decreased to 790 and reached 48,181 of which 46,314 claims have been paid by non-Life insurance companies and 1,867 by life insurance companies. //a.i/
