TIRANA, Jan 18 /ATA/ Albanian Road Authority (ARA) informs that freezing temperatures have hit the country overnight, mainly in the north and southeast. On the axes of Mount Dajti and Llogara, the maintenance crews continuously spread rock salt to ensure smooth traffic.
ARA reports that the road traffic is running smoothly.
According to same sources, the commuters are advised to use snow chains due to icy conditions on the axes of
Qafë Bualli-Krastë, Ura e Cerenecit-Klenjë.
The drivers should exercise caution, slow down the speed, adhere to road signage as well as get equipped with winter tires and chains.
