TIRANA, January 11/ATA/- The Independent Qualification Commission dismissed today from office Prosecutor at the Court of Appeal in Vlora Pelivan Malaj.
The panel consisting of rapporteur Valbona Sanxhaktari, presiding judge Lulzim Hamitaj, Pamela Qirko, after reviewing Malaj’s file, decided to dismiss him from the post of Prosecutor in Vlora region.
Pelivan Malaj started his career in the justice system as a lawyer. In May 2003, he was appointed prosecutor of Vlora Court of Appeal, a position he held for almost two decades. Malaj has also been president of the Prosecutors Association. /j.p/p.s./
