TIRANA, January 11 /ATA/Minister of Interior Bledi Çuçi stated from Gjirokastra that the immediate engagement of local and central civil emergency structures, as well as the investments made over the years have avoided the deterioration of the situation from the heavy rain in the country in recent days.
On Monday morning, Minister Çuçi participated in the meeting of the Emergency Headquarters of Gjirokastra Region, where together with local leaders we discussed the coordination of work in coping with the emergency created by heavy rainfall.
According to Çuçi, thanks to the investments we have made and the immediate commitment of all state structures like never before, we have a situation today that is unmatched compared to the past. However, we are on full alert for every eventual situation.
