TIRANA, Jan. 10 /ATA/ During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology at NIPHK and private laboratories using the method RT-PCR, a total of 1,586 samples taken from the Kosovo’s Clinical and Hospital Service and tracking of case contacts on the field were tested, of which 253 turned out to be positive.
In the last 24 hours, have been reported 2 fatalities. The total number of positive cases has reached 53,776 out of 197,061 persons suspected with SARS-CoV-2 virus, while the number of fatalities has reached 1,377.
In the last 24 hours, 646 patients have recovered putting the overall number of cured cases to date at 46,259, while the number of active cases is 6,140.//a.i/
