TIRANA, Jan. 8/ATA/- The General Directorate of Taxation announced on Friday that work will kick off on recording field operations using cameras.
In pursuit of the operational plan in the light of the crackdown on informality the General Directorate of Taxation has recently taken the initiative to equip on site inspectors with recording cameras, to record actions performed during field verifications at taxpayers’ activities.
The initiative aims to guarantee the fulfillment of functional duties of employees of the tax administration during the exercise of duty.
Also, this initiative guarantees the improvement of the behavior and communication of the tax administration with the taxpayers, thus avoiding abusive or corrupt cases, increasing the transparency in accordance with the tax legislation in force as well as the processing of registered data. //a.i/
