TIRANA, Jan 7 /ATA/ – By I. Vata/ The Albanian Road Authority informs that all road axes are passable despite the downpour and bad weather conditions.
Albanian Road Authority informs that heavy rainfall all across the country have triggered landslides on the segment Kranea Bridge-Syri i Kaltër, Elbasan-Qafë Thanë, Berat-Çorovodë.
“The persistent downpour have triggered landslides on the segment Kranea Bridge-Syri I Kalter, where the road maintenance crews intervened on time to clear the segment, which is passable right now. In Elbasan-Qafë Thanë, Berat-Çorovodë, there were landslides due to rainfall which were cleared, the Albanian Road Authority says.
Albanian Road Authority appeals to commuters to exercise caution due to the wet conditions.
“Vehicle drivers are required to exercise caution due to the wet conditions on the roads, to slow down speed and adhere to the road signs,” the Albanian Road Authority says in its press release.
