Fiscalization/ Until September 1, all entities will continue to submit statements or complete books

TIRANA, January 5 /ATA/ General Director of the Tax Office Delina Ibrahimaj said that there are about 7,600 businesses that beginning from January 1 have started to issue electronic invoices with public entities.

Regarding businesses that have not yet installed a software, the director clarified that these entities can use free of charge the portal available for Fiscalization, Self-Care.

Ibrahimaj stressed that until September 1, 2021, all entities will continue, regardless of whether they are taxed or not, to submit statements or complete the books of sale and purchase the same as before.

The effect that fiscalization is expected to give is the reduction of informality, but also the increase of the efficiency of the tax administration, as for the first time it will have in its systems all the invoices that are issued to the subjects, and all the elements of the invoice.

On the other hand it will help to track the revenue and product chain from import to final consumer, and this tracking will help reduce informality. In the medium term, the Tax Administration expects informality to be reduced by 15%. /a.a/p.s./
