TIRANA, January 5 /ATA/ 5 prosecutors have submitted the relevant documentation to be selected to the High Prosecution Council (KLP).
The General Prosecutor’s Office announced that at the end of the deadline set on 31.12.2020, 5 prosecutors from the prosecutions of general jurisdiction have expressed interest and submitted the required documentation.
“The General Prosecutor’s Office is taking all measures to organize the meeting of prosecutors and the entire voting procedure for the members of the KLP in accordance with the rules set by the Technical Committee of Experts, avoiding the spread of COVID- 19 ”, informed through a press statement the General Prosecution.
It is also reported that the General Prosecutor’s Office has addressed the Technical Committee of Experts in advance to approve the organization of the general meeting of prosecutors in the premises of the Palace of Congresses with an optimal capacity for conducting the meeting of prosecutors.
“After receiving the approval from the Technical Committee of Experts, the date of the meeting will be set immediately to elect the prosecutorial members of the High Prosecution Council”, it is further emphasized. /a.a/p.s./
