TIRANA, Dec 30 /ATA/ – By I. Vata/ The Regulatory Commission approved the rules of the State Police responsibilities with regard to elections.
Assessing the importance of the duties of State Police in the service of elections, the decision sets out rules and details the role and responsibilities of the State Police and the election administration during their activity in the service of elections.
It also sets forth the rules and procedures to be followed in fulfilling the tasks during the election campaign, election day, during the counting of votes and announcement of the election result, in coordination with the election administration, according to the rules set out in the Electoral Code.
