TIRANA, December 23 /ATA/- “We have kept our promise for the reconstruction project in Laç area, after the earthquake of last November 26, which envisages construction of 524 residential units, 375 parking spaces and 37 service units”, stated today Minister of Environment and Urbanization of Turkey Murat Kurum during the event held in Laç. He added that Turkey considers Albania a friend and brother.
“We have tried to respect the architecture of the area and we hope that the foundation of the houses that we will lay today, will further strengthen relations,” said the Turkish minister.
The Ambassador of Turkey to our country Murat Ahmet Yörük said that this project was an order of President Erdogan.
Mayor of Laç Majlinda Cara emphasized that it was the will and conviction of Prime Minister Edi Rama, who after the November 26 earthquake, stressed that this tragedy will turn into a new opportunity, which urged us to resume the reconstruction process. She thanked the Turkish government and President Erdogan for their support, adding that “A friend in need is a friend indeed”./p.s./
