TIRANA, December 23 /ATA/ -“Apollonia Carpet” is a miracle that should not be kept hidden, said Minister of Culture Elva Margariti.
She said that the specialists of the National Institute of Cultural Heritage, the Regional Directorate of Tirana and the National Historical Museum are working on drafting the project for its conservation and exhibition intervention.
The atrium of the National Historical Museum “hides” one of the most special assets of our cultural heritage. “It is about the ‘Apollonia Carpet’, this rare mosaic, which should be accessible to the public,” said Margariti.
