TIRANA, Dec. 21/ATA/-The Technical Committee of Experts has imposed new restrictive measures that will take effect on January 24 to January 4 based on the risk assessment for mass gatherings and the increase of contacts during the end-of-the-year celebration, the Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu announced on Monday.
According to the decision there will be movement restriction from 20:30 pm until 6:00 am. Persons who have to move for health emergencies, work motives or urgent needs make exceptions to this rule. The activities of bars and restaurants will also be subject to the same schedule.
“As of January 5, movement restriction will start at 22:00 pm. After performing an effective situation analysis, at the end of the 51st week of the epidemic, experts reported an incidence rate of confirmed cases of COVID-19, 359 news cases per 10 thousand inhabitants. In the last four weeks there has been a stable situation in terms of Covid-19,” minister Manastirliu said.//a.i/
