Authorized Economic Operator status, Denaj: Immediate access in all customs points

TIRANA, December 21  /ATA/ The Ministry of Finance and Economy together with the General Directorate of Customs conducted the activity on the topic: “Information of the Exporting Sector of Agricultural Products on the Status of Authorized Economic Operators for Business”, in order to recognize the importance of this status , as well as improving the business climate in our country.

The member states of the CEFTA Agreement have negotiated Additional Protocol 5, which aims to create synergies between the countries of the region to facilitate trade.

This protocol envisages immediate access to all customs points through a license for all companies that export in any field such as tailoring, agro-industry, agriculture, where there is a need to move beyond a country, which may be the nearest country “, but also in other countries where this agreement within the EU is recognized”, Denaj explained.

According to the Minister, CEFTA is a body that helps the countries of the Western Balkans to integrate in the economic context in Europe and all the protocols are there to make this journey easy for us once it will formally occur.

This absolutely helps in economic development, helps the reputation of the General Directorate of Customs and beyond the obvious improvements that have occurred over the years because we have many processes that are automated like “Customs without papers” and many others online. This element that comes within this regional and European framework helps the exporter to go faster to the destination “, stressed Denaj./p.s./
