TIRANA, Dec. 18 /ATA/- On domestic exchange market on Friday, the domestic currency lek gained ground versus the foreign currencies compared to the previous day.
Experts say that, the decrease in demand for foreign currencies in foreign exchange market has significantly strengthened position of the Albanian lek throughout this week. However, the stable exchange rate has been within the BoA’s expectations.
According to the official exchange rate of the Bank of Albania, Euro 1 got exchanged with 123.50 lek, or 0.05 lek less than a day earlier, while the USD got exchanged with 100.85 lek, or 0.18 lek less than a day before.
British pound is exchanged at 136.24 lek or 0.99 lek less than a day before. Swiss franc gained ground exchanging at 114.08 lek or 0.30 lek less than a day earlier.//a.i/
