TIRANA, Dec. 17/ATA/- Abuses related to constructions that cause damage to life or materials will now be charged to the responsible entities or individuals, the Albania’s Minister of Justice, Etilda Gjonaj said at the today’s plenary session with regard to the legal changes proposed by the government and the Socialist MP, Klotilda Bushka, to the law “On the status of judges and prosecutors in the Republic of Albania and law “On protection of whistleblowers”.
“The proposed legal regulations aim to sanction in law not only the punishment but also the clear definition of all legal responsibilities of construction entities to guarantee not only in letters and documentation, but also to guarantee in every square meter of work their quality, regularity and standards of work of entities in the future, in the field of construction with the ultimate goal of protecting and guaranteeing the lives of our citizens,” the Minister of Justice, Etilda Gjonaj said.
“The amendments to the Criminal Code together with the package in the field of construction approved a few months ago will be a solid and complete legal basis which clarifies the criminal legal and civil or administrative responsibilities of the entire chain of construction stakeholders,” Minister Gjonaj added. //a.i/
