TIRANA, Dec 14 /ATA/ – The Minister of State for Protection of Entrepreneurship Eduard Shalsi on Monday visited technology-related business which is an official Google partner agency in Albania.
A chance meeting with an Italian business partner urged Ivi, the owner of this business, to channel the experience he had accumulated while working for a TV station, to launch a very interesting start-up in the field of technology, which the virtual 3D glasses can explain better than anything else.
“Surrounded by a group of talented young boys and girls, the company in which he is a shareholder is already one of the four official Google partners, with a product that amplifies the possibilities of “Google Street View”, offering professional photographers a new interaction and innovative way and dedicated to booking services,” Shalsi said.
“Through Tourmake and Viewmake technologies, digital maps and interactive Google Maps-related stores can be created, as it is the case with some of the world’s most prestigious companies, including Ferrari, Lamborghini, Ralph Lauren, Football Republic etc,” the Minister added.
“Welcome Albania is another very interesting and useful application that offers you a 3D tour experience of Albania, a model which is expected to be applied by the company in Monaco and Dubai “, Shalsi said.
“Ivi’s company was picked among 918,000 applications via Y Combinator, a famous start-up accelerator. The company was selected among 50 companies from all over the world, an accomplishment that Ivi attributed to his team,” Shalsi added.
