Hospitalized COVID-19 patients to communicate with relatives via tablets

TIRANA, Dec 6 /ATA/ – Hospitalized COVID-19 patients will now be able to communicate with their families and relatives, waiting outside hospitals to receive information on their condition via special smart devices and tablets already made available to them.

The news was announced by the Minister of Health and Social Protection Ogerta Manastirliu, who posted a video showing images inside the Infectious Disease Hospital in Tirana and hospitalized COVID-19 patients communicating via video chat by using tablets.

“A new way of communication via specifically-designated tablets we have made available to help family members and relatives, who impatiently wait outside hospitals, encourage their loved ones who are hospitalized after contracting COVID-19,” Manastirliu said.
