TIRANA, Dec. 1/ATA/- The Albania’s Prime Minister Edi Rama stated on Tuesday that, “we are involved in those systems set up to pre-purchase the COVID-19 vaccine and we have made available a fund once developed. But at the moment there is no fixed deadline.”
In a conversation with students, the Prime Minister Rama emphasized that “we are putting a lot of effort to provide the opportunity to vaccinate people as soon as possible.”
“We are in close contacts with our partners at all levels, to ensure nobody will be left behind. I can not provide a fixed date right now, as there is no signed contract,” the premier Rama said.
“I believe that we will be able to handle the second wave of coronavirus, and we will come out not overwhelmed, but certainly relieved and stronger,” the Prime Minister Rama said.
The head of government stressed that, “the restrictive measures are determined by the Technical Committee of Experts and not by the government.”
“The most important thing is how we, as individuals adapt these simple rules, because we are the transmitters of this virus and whether we help or prevent the virus is up to us,” the premier Rama added.//a.i/
